Espanyc specializes in private and semi-private Spanish classes. These classes are held in the student's home or office (in Manhattan) without additional charges for travel time. This way, you can learn at your own pace. In addition, classes are flexible- designed to fit your schedule and if this changes, class time can change as well.
All classes are taught by an experienced, native speaker who has been trained to teach Spanish as a foreign language. From the first day, students are immersed in Spanish while being taught the grammar necessary to communicate. Level - appropriate materials such as newspapers, short-stories as well as grammar exercises are incorporated into all classes.
Our instructor Alvaro Berroteran.
Alvaro is a native Spanish speaker from Nicaragua. He taught Spanish as a foreign language for several years in Nicaragua in addition to teaching art classes for children. Since moving to the United States in 2000, he has continued to teach students of all levels and ages. His classes immerse students in Spanish, making sure they learn the tools they need to speak while having fun.

Megan has been working for Espanyc for three years. She helps to schedule classes, provide information to potential students and develop web content. Megan has traveled extensively throughout Latin America and enjoys speaking Spanish every opportunity she gets.
